About The Position

Resident Advisor (RA) is seeking a City Manager for Stockholm to serve as the local connection to the city's electronic music community. This role involves keeping RA's local content sharp and current by adding and enriching listings for events, artists, and venues, and contributing editorial ideas to reflect the local scene. The City Manager will be RA's eyes and ears on the ground, shaping how Stockholm's scene is represented on the platform. The approach is city-first, with a baseline of core tasks and flexibility to tailor the role to Stockholm's specific needs. The work is measured through agreed outcomes and reviewed every six months.

Requirements

  • Embedded within the local scene with a wide existing network.
  • Outgoing personality who builds networks quickly.
  • Track record of effective communication, both personal and digital.
  • Passion and understanding of electronic music culture.
  • Willingness to live RA’s values.
  • Submit CV and cover letter in English.

Responsibilities

  • Keep RA accurate in Stockholm by ensuring event listings, venue pages, and artist pages reflect current happenings.
  • Pitch parties, people, and stories relevant to the local scene and feed into RA formats like RA Picks, Local News, This Week’s New Music, Mix Of the Day, and Socials channels.
  • Act as a visible, trusted point of contact in the local community, sharing context about changes on the ground.
  • Maintain a steady rhythm with your manager and the wider network.
  • Identify potential ticketing partnerships and hand over introductions to the Revenue team.
  • Help promoters and venues get started with RA tools and maintain priority relationships.
  • Support outreach and introductions for commercial opportunities with clear handover and follow-up.
  • Undertake optional extra work such as supporting nearby cities, translations, news writing, or local event support, if agreed separately.
