About The Position
R+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented City Dispatcher to work in our Irving, TX Service Center office. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience. Employees earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment. Requirements
- Proven basic leadership experience
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
- Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred
- Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Driver and Freight Handler Management
- Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
- Ensure Safety Compliance
- Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
- Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
