Cisco Network Engineer (W2 Only, No C2c)
About The Position
This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI. The role involves providing engineering backfill and project support for existing architects and network engineers. Key responsibilities include supporting network hardware refresh initiatives, such as switch and distribution refreshes across multiple sites, and assisting with SD-WAN rollouts. The position requires hands-on work with Cisco network infrastructure, including access, distribution, and chassis-based switches, as well as support for firewall platforms (Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower). The role is fully onsite and requires flexibility to assist across environments as needed. Standard equipment configurations and operational practices are to be followed, with no deep architecture design required.
Requirements
- Experience with Cisco Switching (up through Catalyst 9000 Series)
- Experience with SD‑WAN Technologies (Cisco / Meraki)
- Experience Firewall Platforms (Cisco Firepower / Palo Alto)
- W2 Only, No C2c
