Assisting with the public service desk, guiding others in the use of research tools such as the library’s online catalog and databases, learning/having bibliographic knowledge of the library’s call number system and set up, shelving books, stacks/shelving maintenance (cleaning, dusting, shifting, reorganizing books), processing library materials for Course Reserves, helping with digitization projects, referring patrons to appropriate service desks and departments within the library, checking in books, checking out books; renewing material (in-person, online, by phone), paging books – requesting and processing items for patrons, and other duties as assigned.
