About The Position

This is a student worker position in the Circulation area of the Library. Responsibilities include assisting with circulation tasks, delivering and picking up audio visual equipment, shelving books and media, and cleaning and performing limited inventory of AV equipment. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring or 1 credit hour for Summer, have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (waived for first-semester students), and may be hired as Federal Work Study employees if qualified.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. (GPA requirement is waived for first semester students).
• Excellent English communication skills including the ability to read well.
• Must be able to push heavy equipment cart and book truck.
• Background check required.

• If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
