  • Must pass a thorough criminal background check due to the sensitivity of the information handled by this position.

Responsibilities

  • Operate under the general supervision of the Circulation Supervisor, engaging in essential library functions that directly impact our community.
  • Circulation of library materials.
  • Accurate data entry into the circulation system.
  • Preparation of overdue notices.
  • Registration of borrowers.
  • Handle cash transactions with integrity and precision.
  • Daily interactions with the public will require tact and diplomacy, especially in situations involving overdue notices and patron records.
  • Make key decisions regarding the charging and discharging of library materials, ensuring compliance with the guidelines established by the Circulation Supervisor.
  • Handle various situations related to patron records effectively.
