About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Circuit Support Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities Monitor circuit health and performance; respond to alerts, perform diagnostics, and escalate to carriers or internal engineering as needed. Track provisioning, activations, bandwidth allocations, configuration changes, maintenance, and disconnects across enterprise circuits. Validate circuit activations and service configurations to confirm operational readiness prior to cutover. Troubleshoot recurring circuit issues, coordinate corrective actions with carriers/vendors, and verify resolution. Coordinate outage response and restoration activities; manage vendor escalations and service‑credit/vendor recovery processes. Maintain accurate circuit inventories, topology diagrams, service records, and configuration documentation in the authoritative repository. Produce circuit status reports, SLA performance metrics, and incident post‑mortems for operations and leadership. Collaborate with network engineers, NOC, SOC, and operations teams to resolve cross‑domain connectivity issues and support change/release activities. Ensure circuit work adheres to architectural, security (RMF/STIG/IAVM), and operational requirements; support audit evidence requests. #ENOCS Qualifications Required Qualifications 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree Active TS/SCI clearance. Candidate must meet ONE: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering; OR Relevant DoD/military training (examples: 4C‑255N, 4‑11‑C22, 4‑11‑C23, 102‑25S30‑C45, Network Operations Specialist (Intermediate) Playlist); OR Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (examples: CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP). Telecom/network support experience with hands‑on circuit provisioning, activation validation, and carrier/vendor coordination. Proficiency with circuit inventory/CMDB tools, ticketing systems, and network monitoring platforms; strong diagnostics and vendor management skills. Ability to produce clear technical incident reports and communicate status to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Desired Qualifications Prior experience supporting NIPRNet/SIPRNet or DoD/enterprise circuit operations. Familiarity with DISA/NETCOM carrier processes, RMF/eMASS evidence needs, and STIG/IAVM implications on circuit services. Experience with SD‑WAN, MPLS, WAN optimization, and provisioning automation/API integrations.
