About The Position

The Circuit Manager is responsible for managing global enterprise communication services, ensuring high availability and SLA adherence through collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role drives the circuit management function, overseeing circuit provisioning and allocation for effective information exchange. The manager also coordinates 24/7 technical assistance for outage resolution, aiming to improve service reliability, uptime, and operational performance. Additionally, they support lifecycle management and coordinate the preparation, installation, and maintenance of routing, switching, and WAN/LAN equipment. The role involves working with engineers to develop network architecture diagrams, maintain capability roadmaps, and execute test plans for configuration upgrades. Regular inspection of assigned equipment and coordination with facility maintenance for critical power and environmental systems are also key duties. The Circuit Manager acts as the primary liaison for service providers, ensuring customer requirements and government security policy compliance are met.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph OR TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph prior to start
  • 2+ years of customer record keeping and records management experience
  • Ability to work weekends and evening hours as needed
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proficiency in MS Productivity suite – Access, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, MS Teams, and SharePoint
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance
  • Experience in complex telecommunications environments involving all phases of network design, implementation, and analysis pertaining to telecommunications transport circuits.
