About The Position

Boeing is seeking aspiring mechanics for their Circuit Card Assembly Apprenticeship program in Huntsville, AL. This full-time, company-sponsored on-the-job training program is designed to equip new team members with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The 10-week program focuses on developing the skills required for a Circuit Card Assembly Specialist, including soldering electronic components, performing simple rework and modifications, and operating shop tools and equipment. Upon successful completion, participants will have demonstrated the ability to perform the work of a Circuit Card Assembly Specialist. The program is a Department of Labor (DOL) registered apprenticeship, offering formal learning, on-the-job experience, and mentorship, leading to a nationally recognized credential. The apprenticeship is located on the Drake State Community & Technical College campus.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Experience using basic hand tools
Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62)
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

Solder electronic components such as integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors, and connectors.
Perform simple rework and modification to circuit card parts and assemblies.
