About The Position

The CIP Operator position is responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure, ensuring all GMP, safety, and 5S standards are met. This role supports the cleanliness of plant machinery, which is essential for maintaining standards and ensuring food safety. The operator will help prepare production equipment for cleaning, following Lockout Tagout procedures, and perform periodic visual and swab checks to ensure sanitation effectiveness. The position emphasizes minimizing downtime during pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections.

Requirements

Lockout Tagout Certified
Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Responsibilities

Inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas
Disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure
Ensuring all GMP, safety, and 5S standards are met
