Requirements

  • Preferred candidate will be a rising Junior or rising Senior (Class of 2028 or 2029) expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computational Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitively focused curriculum
  • Strong attention to detail; careful review of facts and figures, quick to identify errors, ensure consistency of information
  • Superior Excel and financial modeling skills, with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Knowledge of the middle market levered lending market, customers and competitors strongly preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey complex business and marketing concepts, effective and strong active listening skills
  • Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results driven team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to negotiate, influence and gain credibility
  • Innovative and creative thinker; ability to make connections among previously unrelated notions, ability to project how potential ideas may play out

Responsibilities

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to underwrite investment opportunities across junior capital, equity co-investment, and primary funds.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents.
  • Assist with monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments.
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with sponsors and portfolio company executives.
