About The Position
The Maintenance & Custodial Team Members help steward the physical spaces of Mercy Culture Church with excellence, care, and a servant’s heart.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic with a servant-hearted attitude
- Detail-oriented and efficient in task execution
- Ability to lead well, lead up, and work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
- Team-building and leadership development skills
- Sound judgment and a high level of personal integrity
- Ability to manage tasks independently while remaining flexible to ministry needs
- To work at Mercy Culture Church, you must be an active member in good standing or become a member upon hire.
- Mercy Culture Church employees must agree and abide by the beliefs and Leadership Standards of the church.
Responsibilities
- Steward executive and general office spaces with excellence and attention to detail
- Perform custodial and routine maintenance tasks
- Support painting projects and minor facility improvements
- Respond to and assist with maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Uphold Mercy Culture’s values, culture, and leadership expectations in all work
- Participate in weekly staff and prayer meetings to stay connected, spiritually engaged, and aligned with the heart, culture, and direction of the church.
