About The Position

The College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) is seeking a faculty fellow for the academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027). This role involves close collaboration with the Associate Deans for Faculty and Academic Affairs to support faculty development, mentoring, and promotion within the College. The fellow will assist the dean’s office with promotion and tenure reviews, award nominations, and faculty mentoring. Candidates should have a strong interest in faculty affairs and a commitment to faculty mentoring and professional development. Experience with the promotion and/or promotion and tenure process is preferred. The position includes a one-course teaching reduction per semester and a $4,000 summer stipend.

Requirements

  • Tenured and term faculty at the associate professor and professor rank
  • Interest in faculty affairs
  • Demonstrated commitment to faculty mentoring and professional development
  • Submit a current CV
  • Submit a cover letter detailing experience and qualifications
  • Submit the name of your Department Chair or School Director plus two additional references
