About The Position

The College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) is seeking a faculty fellow for the academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027). This role involves close collaboration with the Associate Dean for Research to support faculty development, mentoring, and promotion within the college. The fellow will work on revising research/scholarship policies, implementing internal CHS funding, and contributing to strategic planning aligned with VCU’s Research Strategic Priorities Plan (SRPP) and its research clusters. A key responsibility will be facilitating collaborations for training or center-level grants.

Requirements

  • Tenured at the associate professor or professor rank.
  • Research-active.
  • Understanding of multiple aspects of research and scholarship.

  • Experience with grants and/or publication process.

Responsibilities
