Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years as a Service Technician, with a proven track record of excellence.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE Certification is mandatory.
• Expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
• Proficient in using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools, with the ability to perform complex troubleshooting and repairs.
• Superior customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with dealership software.
• A willingness to continue education and training to stay current with industry advancements.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.

Nice To Haves

• Master Technician Certification is preferred.
• Previous experience working with CDJR (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with exceptional accuracy and efficiency, adhering to dealership standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to conduct thorough diagnostic procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs and identify any additional issues, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a broad spectrum of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and fuel systems.
• Tackle complex repairs, especially those involving intricate electrical and mechanical systems, with confidence and expertise.
• Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about their vehicle’s status, providing accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Stay abreast of the latest automotive technology and repair techniques, committing to ongoing education and training.
• Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed, ensuring records are comprehensive and up-to-date.
