Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years as a Service Technician, with a proven track record of excellence.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • ASE Certification is mandatory
  • Expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Proficient in using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools, with the ability to perform complex troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with dealership software.
  • A willingness to continue education and training to stay current with industry advancements.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Technician Certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with CDJR (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) vehicles.
  • Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Precise Repairs: Execute work specified on repair orders with exceptional accuracy and efficiency, adhering to dealership standards.
  • Expert Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to conduct thorough diagnostic procedures.
  • Ensure Optimal Performance: Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs and identify any additional issues, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Comprehensive System Repairs: Diagnose, maintain, and repair a broad spectrum of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and fuel systems.
  • Handle Complex Repairs: Tackle complex repairs, especially those involving intricate electrical and mechanical systems, with confidence and expertise.
  • Customer Communication: Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about their vehicle’s status, providing accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
  • Warranty Repairs: Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest automotive technology and repair techniques, committing to ongoing education and training.
  • Detailed Documentation: Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed, ensuring records are comprehensive and up-to-date.
