Recruits, trains, coordinates, and monitors the work of employee and volunteer bell ringers ensuring ample staff to meet location needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same. This role involves interviewing, recruiting, screening, and selecting bell ringing staff and volunteers, planning and scheduling their work, and maintaining contact with them throughout their service. The coordinator is responsible for preparing and maintaining records and databases for daily kettle income information, preparing reports on the kettle program status, and providing documentation of hours worked. Additionally, this role involves planning and coordinating special events, meeting with community leaders, and driving Salvation Army vehicles to deliver and collect kettles and supplies. Assisting with counting, recording, and depositing kettle funds is also a key responsibility.
