This seasonal full-time position is responsible for recruiting, training, coordinating, and monitoring employee and volunteer bell ringers to ensure ample staff to meet location needs. The role involves preparing records and reports related to these activities. Key responsibilities include assisting with the recruitment, screening, scheduling, and supervision of bell ringing staff and volunteers, maintaining communication, managing daily kettle income records, preparing program status reports, documenting volunteer hours, and assisting with fund counting, recording, and depositing. The position also involves planning and executing special events, engaging with community leaders, and transporting kettles and supplies. The role requires meeting attendance requirements, the ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and conducting all duties in accordance with The Salvation Army's mission and Christian principles with professionalism. Duties are primarily seated but involve extensive driving (50-75% of work time) and limited physical effort for lifting and carrying equipment (less than 40 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
