About The Position

The Christmas Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up bell ringers and kettles at assigned locations on a timely basis. The role may also assist with other seasonal driving responsibilities. The driver maintains vehicles and accurate maintenance and mileage logs, reports vehicle safety or maintenance needs, and communicates problems to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a chauffeur’s endorsement and maintain it.
• Pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check.
• Complete Safe From Harm training and keep it current as needed.
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route.
• Maintain vehicles, ensuring they are clean and prepared for their next use.
