About The Position

Mandan Public School District is accepting applications for a Choir Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position with 186 contract days. The instructor will be responsible for the development and implementation of choir curriculum at Mandan Middle School.

Requirements

• Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.
• Application form and resume should demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed to meet the minimum qualifications for this position.
• Applications should include information which directly addresses how the applicant meets the minimum qualifications and summary of work.
• Employment requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
• A state and federal background check will be conducted on the final candidate.

Responsibilities

• Instruction of Choir curriculums that meet educational standards.
• Instruction of vocal techniques and music theory.
• Organize rehearsals and performances for school concerts.
