About The Position

Vosges Haut-Chocolat is a luxury chocolatier with boutiques at O'Hare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago, IL. As a Chocolate Concierge, you will guide guests through our chocolate collection, assist them in finding the perfect gift, and maintain the beauty and readiness of the boutique throughout your shift. This role combines elements of storytelling, gift advising, and efficient customer service.

Requirements

Must obtain and maintain an airport ID badge issued through the Chicago Department of Aviation.
Pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a TSA security threat assessment.
Provide verifiable employment and address history and two forms of acceptable ID.
Complete required airport security training before the first shift.
Follow all airport and TSA rules while on duty, including badge display and secure-area procedures.
Stand and walk for a full shift; bend, reach, and stoop to restock.
Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Work in a busy, sometimes loud environment with frequent guest interaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, assess their time constraints, and quickly guide them to suitable chocolate or gift options.
Share the stories and flavor profiles of our products, offering samples to aid guest selection.
Suggest complementary items and multi-unit purchases to enhance sales.
Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system and handle cash according to store procedures.
Gift-wrap and package purchases for secure travel.
Restock, face, and merchandise displays according to brand standards.
Receive and put away deliveries, rotate stock, and check product dates and condition.
Maintain boutique cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards, including sampling areas.
Adhere to all airport security regulations, including badge, access, and prohibited item procedures.
Open or close the store, count the register, and complete shift paperwork.
Ensure clear handoffs to the next shift and report stock, equipment, or guest issues to the Store Manager.
