About The Position
HealthSource Chiropractic of Roseland is looking for a high-energy, patient-oriented Chiropractic Assistant/Rehab Specialist to join our team! This is a fast-paced, upbeat chiropractic and progressive rehab clinic helping patients get back to doing what they love through chiropractic care, exercise therapy, and other wellness services. We are looking for someone energetic, friendly, fun, purpose-driven, motivated, and a team player. Strong phone, computer, and people skills are vital as multiple tasks need to be completed quickly.
Requirements
- Energetic, friendly, motivated, team player
- Excellent communicator with strong people skills
- Comfortable using the computer and learning new systems
- At least 1 year of experience in a health / fitness / healthcare setting is desired.
Nice To Haves
- BS/AS degree (or currently pursuing) in Exercise Science or related field or a Personal Trainer Certification is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Instruct patients on rehabilitation and corrective exercises
- Perform routine strengthening exercises and therapeutic exercises as outlined by the Treatment plan
- Consult with doctor regarding the outcome of home exercises and report findings and notes in EHR system
- Apply therapies including scraping, cupping and taping; set up patients for spinal decompression therapy
- Screen/mold patients for custom orthotics
- Manage patient flow through the office
- Social media marketing
- Participate in Community Outreach Marketing
