About The Position

Ada Bible Church is seeking a Discovery Village Satellite Supervisor to join our children’s ministry team. This position is good for someone who is passionate about working with and equipping volunteers help children become lifelong followers of Christ. In this part-time position, you will be responsible for Discovery Village weekend services at the West Satellite, coordinating volunteers, and resources to ensure each child and family in attendance experiences a fun, welcoming environment that encourages them to become lifelong followers of Christ. You will also help execute engaging programming at the West Satellite and help create children’s ministry events. This position is part-time, approximately up to 25-29 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Recruit, support, and encourage children's ministry volunteers
Manage volunteer schedule to ensure appropriate coverage each week
Develop and guide children's ministry volunteers
Ensure resources are provided to support volunteers as they carry out programming
Prepare, open, and close rooms for weekend services
Record attendance of both volunteers and children
Help plan and facilitate children's ministry events and activities
