In-Person Children's English Instructor
About The Position
LTC Language Solutions is seeking English as a Second Language (ESL) instructors to provide private, face-to-face English tutoring to children in the Bay Area, California. Students range from elementary to advanced levels. Lessons are often held at a student's home, workplace, or a public location, and instructors must reside in the Bay Area. Schedules are determined separately for each assignment. Classes are typically held twice per week for two hours per session after school hours. Assignments start throughout the year and range from 30 to 90 hours. Curriculum is based on student goals. Textbooks may be provided, and instructors are expected to supplement them with authentic materials and activities. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and travel distance. Each assignment is contracted separately with a 1099. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an online interview.
Requirements
- Be an English speaker.
- Have at least 2 years of teaching experience.
- Reside in the Bay Area, California.
