About The Position
At Code Ninjas, kids learn to code by building video games. Our Senseis mentor students in a fun and engaging environment while building their confidence and technical skills. Our Senseis are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual oversees the day-to-day coaching and student engagement.
Requirements
- Basic coding knowledge & desire to learn more
- Familiarity with Scratch, Roblox, Minecraft, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience working with kids preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Passionate about STEM education
- Patient and energetic
- Comfortable leading small groups
- Team player
Nice To Haves
- Unity experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Teach kiddos how coding and tech actually work in a fun way
- Help ninjas fix bugs and level up their projects
- Hype up creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Keep the class fun, focused, and chaos-free
- Share student progress and updates with the Center Director and parents when needed
