About The Position
This position is responsible for providing childcare services for children, including personal care, hygiene, learning and developmental activities, and specialized programs. The role involves planning and developing activities, preparing and maintaining records, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the property.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Two years’ experience teaching child development programs, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be cleared by Local Law Enforcement, State of Florida Dept of Children and Families and FBI background screens.
- Valid State of Florida Driver's License and safe driving record.
- C.P.R. and First Aid Certification.
- Mandated annual 45-hours of job-related training.
- This position requires a level 2 background screening.
Responsibilities
- Provides constant care for the needs of children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner.
- Develops and implements lesson plans which are age-group program specific.
- Provides opportunities for physical and mental stimulation through inside and outside learning activities.
