About The Position

The childcare teacher role is an opportunity to help children become lifelong learners in a child care center. The employer is hiring both Lead and Assistant Teachers. Assistant Teachers help provide daily care while following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, develop skills in observing and assessing children and planning for their needs, communicate effectively with families, and complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Observe and assess children, and plan for their needs.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
