Childcare Teacher-Experience Required
About The Position
Small Hands Big Dreams is seeking an Experienced Childcare Teacher passionate about nurturing and growing young minds. This is a full-time/part-time position in Mentor, OH, with a salary range of $16.00 - $20.00 per hour. The ideal candidate is dedicated, energetic, and creative, with experience in childcare and an understanding of quality early childhood education. Small Hands Big Dreams Child Care Center has a high quality rating and is looking for individuals to help set the foundation for the future. Requirements
- Experience working with young children
- Some coursework in early childhood education (or a related field)
- CPL 1, 2 or 3 (wage is assigned based on years of experience and education/training documented in OCCRRA or in the field)
- Ready to lend a helping hand and work as a team
- Supports families through daily communication and engagement
- Joins in on fun- singing and dancing
- Commits to watching students grow through the whole year (longevity)
- Provides social and emotional support and healthy relationships
- Professional and committed to quality
- Motivated and holds true to what you say you will do (integrity)
- High school diploma unless in a TECC / Vocation program program focused on ECE or are enrolled in College as a highschool student studying ECE
Responsibilities
- Health and safety of children
- Prepares and implements hands-on activities
- Actively supervises the children at all times
- Daily communication (verbal, send pictures, videos, messages)
- Builds strong family relationships through goal setting and engagement in classroom activities
- Professionalism
- Teamwork skills
- Punctual
- Enrolls in and completes training through training platforms
- Appropriate interactions, dress, communication
