Childcare Staff (Flex)
About The Position
This job exists to support the church by providing a safe and healthy environment for children from birth-6th grade during the weekends and events throughout the week. Our ideal candidate for childcare staff must have more than just experience. This person must possess an insatiable passion for teaching and caring for children as well as a Holy Spirit-led desire to assist and/or lead a classroom. This person would have a flexible schedule to work primarily evenings, weekends, and occasionally daytime hours. This candidate would also have the spiritual gifts of teaching, shepherding, encouragement, and/or helps.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Clear background check.
Nice To Haves
- Daycare or children's ministry experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a classroom for a particular group of children including check in/out, supervising children and leading activities as required.
- Assist with setup/clean up within the room.
- Attend volunteer meetings/trainings as required.
- Lead, encourage, and direct all children placed in care.
