Role Summary: The Enrichment Leader at The Goddard School - Milton will have the exciting opportunity to work with the leadership team and educators to create a positive and engaging learning environment for children. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing enrichment programs across various classrooms, supporting the admin team, leading & grooming educators, and collaborating with parents and other team members to ensure children's developmental needs are met. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Milton, Massachusetts with a competitive salary and benefits.

Requirements

  • Meet state qualifications and those set forth in the national hiring standards including- Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
  • Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
  • Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
  • Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
  • Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
  • Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement enrichment programs across the various classrooms including and not limited to Languages, Science, Yoga, Coding, Handwriting, Music, Gardening, Chess, etc.
  • Create class enrichment schedules and work with co-teachers in implementing across the school
  • Advancing physical and intellectual competence by adapting program activities to meet the individual needs of the children
  • Communicating appropriately and professionally with both parents and fellow staff members
  • Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
  • Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
  • Understanding and implementing Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures
  • Participating in recommended training programs, conferences and other aspects of professional development
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned
