Requirements

  • 2-3 years classroom experience
  • 1-2 years experience leading other adults
  • Degree in early childhood education (or related field), or Career Pathway Level 3 and or Current CDA
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm
  • Positive attitude
  • Must be CPL-3

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and retention of families and staff
  • Meeting parents' needs
  • Communicating with parents, staff and children
  • Overseeing and inspiring excellence in curriculum
  • Supporting teachers' professional development
  • Using various software systems
  • Creating and adjusting daily staff schedules
  • Facility management
  • Oversite of Program Quality Experience in ECE Classrooms
  • Conducts family tours and collaborates with event planning
  • Follows up with Parent concerns and intakes
  • Collaborates with stakeholders
  • Monitors budget and purchasing
  • Assists with building management
  • Internal and external billing
  • Helps lead center events and staff
  • Acts as a role model
  • Contributes ideas and energy to the team
