As a Full-Time Child Support Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for: Answer inbound calls regarding child support receipts and disbursements Handle standards in a fast-paced, large call volume environment. Utilize multiple computerized systems, multi-tasking, and document each call. Respond to Michigan child support inquiries, and complaints, using a standard script and procedures. Gather information and research/resolve inquiries. Inform callers about services available and assess caller's needs. Provide peer-to-peer training for incoming training classes that transition to the call center floor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education.
  • Be able to successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • 1-2 year's experience in a call center environment.
  • Be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM (words per minute) on a computer.
  • Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • The ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • A strong work ethic.
