About The Position

The Child Plus Specialist at the Community Action Agency of Oklahoma is responsible for managing and optimizing the Child Plus software system to ensure efficient and effective data management for the agency's child development programs. This role involves collaborating with various departments to support data-driven decision-making and enhance program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with child development programs or early childhood education.
  • Experience in utilizing Child Plus or similar database management systems.
  • Proven track record in coordinating and implementing child-focused programs within a community service setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in data entry and analysis, with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including parents, staff, and community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting child development programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Child Plus software system, ensuring its functionality aligns with the agency's needs.
  • Train and support staff members in utilizing the Child Plus system, providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to develop and generate reports that support program evaluation and improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Child Plus system through regular audits and updates.
  • Develop and implement data management protocols to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and reporting processes.
  • Stay informed about updates and new features of the Child Plus system, facilitating their integration into the agency's operations.
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to address technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation and reports for regulatory agencies and funding sources.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to remain current on best practices in data management and child development program evaluation.
