Pediatric Child Life Specialist (Full Time) Position Summary Reporting to the Manager of Pediatric Palliative Care and Children's Programs, the Pediatric Child Life Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing child life services as part of the care plan for Pediatric Hospice and Pediatric Palliative Care patients, siblings, and families. Using child life practices and developmental theories, this role provides assessment, counseling, education, and therapeutic interventions that promote coping, understanding, and emotional well-being. The specialist also participates in community outreach, collaborates with interdisciplinary pediatric teams, and assists with special events and projects that support pediatric patients and their families.
