About The Position

Carolina Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Child & Family Outpatient Therapist for their South Asheville clinic. This role is for a licensed professional (LCSW, LCMHC, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT) passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families. The clinic emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and family-centered care, offering integrated services for children from birth to 21. The position provides protected time for planning and documentation, professional development, embedded mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration with various pediatric professionals. Documentation is supported by customizable templates and AI-assisted tools, with reasonable productivity expectations. The therapist will provide individual and family therapy, coordinate care with parents, caregivers, schools, and other support members, and may work across different settings including clinic, schools, community, and telehealth. There are opportunities for career growth, clinical expertise development, leadership, and program shaping within the pediatric mental health program. Each clinician is assigned a Home Clinic for a consistent professional base and a place to connect with their team, offering dedicated space for materials and resources.

Requirements

Currently licensed in North Carolina as an LCSW, LCMHC, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT
Passion for working with children, adolescents, and families

1+ years of clinical experience preferred (strong candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply)

Responsibilities

Provide evaluation, assessment, and evidence-based mental health treatment to children, adolescents, and families.
Support children and families experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioral and developmental concerns, life transitions, trauma, social and interpersonal challenges, family and parent-child relationships, school-related concerns, self-esteem, coping skills, resilience, and neurodevelopmental differences.
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide engaging, developmentally appropriate interventions.
Work closely with parents and caregivers to help them understand their child’s needs and develop practical support strategies.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to share ideas, coordinate care, solve problems, and support one another.
