About The Position
Child Development Assistant-School Age positions are entry-level and work with Discovery Club. This position is permanent, part-time, and works a 12-month or 9-month schedule. The workday is 4 hours, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The salary ranges from $18.11 - $19.74 per hour or $3,139 - $3,421 per month.
Requirements
- Completed application listing experience, education, and/or training that is relevant to this position.
- Previous experience working with school-age children ages 5-12.
Nice To Haves
- Proof of Associate Teacher Permit (ATP) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
- Higher education that includes completion of college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- Completion of 6 ECE units
- If providing transcripts with application, they must be OFFICIAL transcripts.
- If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university, and YOU MUST provide the evaluation document.
