Child Care Provider
About The Position
A family in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a child in the provider’s home. The role involves approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling on weekday evenings or after-school hours and/or Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The provider will help the child remain safe and supported while encouraging social interaction, engagement, skill development, and community connections. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, the Member—not Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN)—will be the legal employer of record. CDCN assists the Member or Managing Party with recruiting a Direct Care Worker; the Member or Managing Party has sole authority to hire or dismiss workers.
Requirements
- Be reliable, patient, caring, and committed to making a positive impact.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Experience supporting autistic children is highly desired.
- CPR certification is a plus but is not required.
