About The Position

Little Dreamers Academy is hiring a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children. The role involves following weekly menus and childcare nutritional guidelines, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, monitoring inventory, and observing food safety and storage regulations. The Cook accommodates dietary restrictions, allergies, and other nutritional needs, and coordinates meal times with classroom schedules. Requirements

Previous experience in food service, institutional cooking, or childcare food preparation is preferred.
Ability to pass a background check and complete training as required for childcare environments.
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper storage practices.
Warm, nurturing demeanor and a genuine passion for working around children.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Knowledge of USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines.
