Child Care Center Cook (6AM-2PM)

About The Position
As a Center Cook, you will prepare healthy and delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, helping fuel children throughout the day. You will apply nutrition and food-safety practices and keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. Cooks who are interested may also spend time in the classroom, supporting teachers and engaging in classroom activities to help create a warm, supportive environment. Classroom participation is welcomed but not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of food preparation experience.
- ServSafe Food Handler certification.
- Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP) experience.
