About The Position

As an Assistant Teacher at BrightPath Kids, you will work alongside teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home for children in care, in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. You will help maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment where children can grow and explore, and support classroom instruction and activities. The role serves children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. The position is full-time in Delhi, with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms inside and outside as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
