About The Position

This is a year-round position for a Child Care Assistant Site Supervisor at Maple Grove. Responsibilities

• Assigning staff to age groups for the afternoons
• Assigning weekly jobs
• Training staff on curriculum and daily duties
• Keeping children safe and supervising them
• Engaging in friendly interactions with children
• Planning fun learning activities for children
• Providing guidance to children
• Being a role model for children
• Emailing other supervisors, parents, and teachers
• Filling out accident/behavior reports
• Keeping child information up to date
• Planning curriculums
• Filling out DHS requirements
• Conducting tornado and fire drills
• Watching weather and planning appropriately
• Cleaning toys
• Planning fun and safe experiences
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Curriculum planning
• Planning for no school days
• Planning gym games, crafts, drills, cooking, and STEM activities
• Developing strategies for children's behavior
