Blackbird Health•Lansdale, PA

About The Position

Blackbird Health is seeking licensed therapists to provide high-quality virtual and in-person therapy to children, adolescents, young adults ages 2–26, and their caregivers. Therapists build relationships with patients and families, understand their needs, support treatment engagement, and educate them on therapeutic approaches that promote long-term progress. They provide compassionate, evidence-based, family-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Several employment arrangements are available: W-2 full-time, W-2 part-time, and 1099 contractor. Full-time W-2 roles offer a $70,000 base salary for a hybrid arrangement with three onsite days or $75,000 for a fully onsite arrangement. The schedule includes 34 hours of scheduled clinical availability supporting 28 completed direct-care hours per week, with four-day workweek options that may include 12:00 PM–8:00 PM or 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, plus four additional hours. At least 20 core hours per week must fall during peak evening or weekend periods. Part-time W-2 roles are 20 hours per week, including 17 completed direct-care hours. Compensation is a $50,000 base plus an $80 incentive for each completed session beyond the 17-hour baseline. The schedule is anchored in peak core hours, with two onsite days. The 1099 contractor arrangement pays a flat rate of $85 per completed clinical session and requires at least 10 open patient-care hours per week to achieve a baseline of eight completed clinical hours. Contractor hours must also be available during peak core windows. Blackbird handles credentialing, billing, insurance, and EMR, and provides a guaranteed caseload. Paid weekly clinical consultation and peer support are incorporated into the schedule. Blackbird Health describes its approach as whole-child care that considers the relationship between brain, body, and behavior. The organization is committed to inclusion and equal employment opportunity and offers reasonable accommodations during the application and interview process.
