About The Position

Blackbird Health is seeking licensed therapists to provide high-quality virtual and in-person therapy to children, adolescents, young adults ages 2–26, and their caregivers in Virginia, Maryland, or New Jersey. Therapists build relationships with patients and families, understand their needs, support engagement in treatment, and educate them about therapeutic approaches that foster long-term progress. They provide compassionate, evidence-based care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role offers W-2 full-time, W-2 part-time, and 1099 contractor arrangements. Full-time clinicians have a 36-hour scheduled clinical availability workload supporting 28 completed direct-care hours per week, with four-day schedule options and required peak-hour availability. Part-time clinicians work 20 contracted hours supporting 17 completed direct-care hours per week, all during peak periods. Contractors commit to at least 10 open patient-care hours weekly to achieve a baseline of eight completed clinical hours, with available hours scheduled during peak periods. Blackbird handles credentialing, billing, insurance, and EMR so clinicians can focus on patient care. A guaranteed caseload, paid weekly clinical consultation, and peer support are provided.
