About The Position

Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work at Monte Nido Clementine West Linn located in West Linn, OR.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited MD program.
Psychiatry Residency completed from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
Knowledge and skills compatible to an individual with board certification in Psychiatry
Minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant psychiatric experience
Current unrestricted license in the state of MA in Psychiatry (MD/DO)
Board eligible/Board certified in Psychiatry

Nice To Haves

Experience with adults, children and adolescents, strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents presenting with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Provide accurate and timely psychiatric diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the unique needs of child and adolescent patients.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as appropriate, ensuring safety and efficacy.
Monitor and adjust medication regimens based on patient response and clinical considerations.
Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.
Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding psychiatric diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery.
Collaborate with families to develop strategies for managing and supporting their child's mental health.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
