About The Position
The Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre is seeking a part-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. This group provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction care to the catchment area of people living in Cumberland County through a wide range of mental health and addiction services. Requirements
- All specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada(RCPSC)
- All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or proof of alternative coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care.
- Provide direct clinical outpatient care
- Provide emergency medicine services in conjunction with our crisis team
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
