About The Position

Signet Health is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and collaborative Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join our growing behavioral health team in Monterey, California. The Psychologist provides psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic services for children and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings. In addition to clinical responsibilities, this role collaborates closely with the Ohana Clinical Team on program development initiatives for emerging treatment settings and community prevention programs. The ideal candidate values interdisciplinary teamwork, quality patient care, safety, and relationship-building with patients, families, staff, and community partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working with children and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment settings required
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology, or PsyD required
  • Current State of California Psychology License required
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative, leadership, or behavioral health program development experience preferred
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities is strongly preferred, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
  • MOAB certification must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment
  • Must complete Monterey County 5150 training and maintain annual 5150 Professional Staff authorization

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy services for children and adolescents
  • Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical collaboration
  • Support crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization efforts
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the Ohana Clinical Team on program development and prevention initiatives
  • Maintain a minimum productivity standard of 25 patient-facing billable hours per week

Benefits

  • Generous salary between $178,000 - $206,000, depending on experience
  • Hourly shift differential is offered for both evening and night shifts
