About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide clinical services in an inpatient setting in Mansfield Center, CT. The coverage period is from September 7, 2026, to January 1, 2027, with a 40-hour work week. The role involves providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents, including admissions, rounding, and managing inpatient behavioral health cases. The facility offers standard inpatient behavioral health resources, behavioral health support services, and a multidisciplinary inpatient behavioral health team.

Requirements

• Active Connecticut Medical License or Ability to Obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active DEA
• Ability to Manage Acute Psychiatric Conditions in an Inpatient Setting
• Hospital Privileges Required

Nice To Haves

• Board Certification in Psychiatry Preferred
• Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide Psychiatric Care to Child and Adolescent Inpatients
