About The Position

MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide non-direct care services to the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) in Harrisburg. The position is 25 hours per week and can be performed remotely, with travel to the office only as needed. The psychiatrist provides clinical expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry, shares evidence-informed practices in child and adolescent behavioral health, and supports integrating those practices into OMHSAS policy, procedures, and regulations. The role also involves collaboration with other Department of Human Services program offices on child and adolescent mental health, participation in complex case discussions, and technical assistance to community and state providers and/or primary contractors regarding behavioral health challenges affecting community members and residents of state-operated facilities. This is an independent contractor position. The company describes its compensation as newly increased and guaranteed.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD/DO).
Current board certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
Strong interest in public and community psychiatry.
Pennsylvania medical license.
At least 5 years of clinical experience.
Successfully complete the security clearance process required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry to OMHSAS.
Share knowledge of evidence-informed practices in child and adolescent behavioral health.
Support the integration of evidence-informed practices into OMHSAS policy, procedures, and regulations.
