Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as an engineering manager or senior team leader responsible for direct line management of software engineers.
Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, software engineering and architecture, including full-stack development.
Mandatory domain knowledge in SaaS product development and methodologies.
Excellent levels of both written and spoken English.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Experience with .NET environments and codebases would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

Successfully led software developers across a wide range of experience levels and specialties.
Bring deep expertise in shaping product strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
Develop your team while consistently achieving business objectives.
Scale an engineering organization, define clear roles and responsibilities, and plan effectively for growth.
Proficient in Agile methodologies and have successfully applied these principles to drive productivity and quality improvements.
Hands-on experience with project and issue tracking tools such as JIRA, ensuring efficient collaboration and transparency across distributed teams.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab or Jenkins, enabling seamless, automated workflows from development to deployment.
Strong practical knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Demonstrable experience in developing and migrating cloud-based solutions, particularly within AWS and Azure environments.
Overseen the adoption of modern development frameworks and technologies to stay at the forefront of innovation.
Leveraged AI tools (such as CoPilot) to enhance delivery speed and code quality.
