Chief Technology Officer

Ledger Investing is seeking a visionary CTO to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping their strategy. As the CTO, you will lead all Engineering, Product and Design, and Data Science Infrastructure/Engineering efforts to deliver a best-in-class platform for customers. This role involves refining the overall technology strategy, executing the company's platform vision, driving innovation, collaborating with the executive leadership team, leading and mentoring teams, defining engineering best practices, and facilitating seamless coordination to deliver high-quality software products.

Leading and refining the overall technology strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

Executing the company’s platform vision, including Ledger’s securitization marketplace and data infrastructure.

Driving innovation, identifying emerging technologies, and assessing their potential impact on the company's product offerings.

Collaborating closely with the Executive Leadership Team to align technology initiatives with business objectives and foster a culture of collaboration.

Leading the engineering, product and design, and data science infrastructure/engineering teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

Defining and applying engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that are scalable and secure.

Collaborating with product and design leadership to guide the product roadmap, prioritize features, and oversee the design process to deliver exceptional user experiences. Facilitating seamless coordination of these efforts to deliver high-quality software products.

Recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent across engineering, product management, design, and data infrastructure.

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience, with at least 3 years in an executive role (VP or CTO) leading a technology function in a high-growth environment with an emphasis on engineering.
• Resilient leader who can navigate through both the details and the big picture, inspiring cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy and architecture aligned with business goals, driving innovation and growth.
• Deep engineering expertise with broader leadership experience including product management and data science.
• Strong understanding of scalability, security, and efficiency in technology solutions.
• Experience in executing platform vision, including securitization marketplace and data infrastructure.
• Ability to identify and assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on product offerings.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Experience leading engineering, product and design, and data science infrastructure/engineering teams, providing mentorship and technical expertise.
• Knowledge of engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
• Experience in guiding product roadmap, prioritizing features, and overseeing the design process.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and retain top talent across engineering, product management, design, and data infrastructure functions.
• Experience in evaluating and managing technology vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships.
• Knowledge of data security and regulatory compliance.
